Jourdan Townsend received both her B.A. and M.A. in communication from the University of Oklahoma. A life-long anglophile, lover of literature, and believer in magic, the Harry Potter series captured her heart years ago and has not released it. While struggling to find her research niche, she realized that she could combine her passion for Potter with her academic pursuits. She chose to specialize in popular culture communication and hasn't looked back since.
