This lecture will reflect on my experience teaching Harry Potter as part of a seminar for undergraduate honors students this past semester called "Fantasy and Social Values" which looked at how fantasy literature and film franchises both shape and are shaped by the values those who consume them. It will discuss what worked and what didn't, and things that the audience might try in teaching students how to reflect on all things Potter.
