The casting of Swaziland-born actress Noma Dumezweni as the adult Hermione for the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" has aroused some contention. Do "book-first" fans' ideas about Rowling's characters (not just Hermione) differ from those of "film-first" fans?
